Help Living Hope Farm Fulfill Its Mission to Nourish Our Community

Living Hope Farm is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. Your support helps us continue our mission of nourishing our community while growing the next generation of farmers.

We invite you to contribute through our PayPal donation link or by sending a check to Living Hope Farm. Every gift—large or small—helps us plan confidently for future seasons, invest in cooperative and sustainable growing practices, and share fresh, healthy food with local families and children.

Giving back is at the heart of what we do. Through our Farm2Family program (link to page), we donate a portion of our freshly harvested produce each week to families facing food insecurity right here in our community, and we also provide weekly donations of fresh vegetables to Shepherd’s Shelf Food Pantry.

In addition, Living Hope Farm hosts educational tours, hands-on classes, and volunteer events. We also partner with local organizations to provide meaningful farm-based activities for disabled adults and older children as part of their therapy and enrichment programs.

Together, your support helps us grow food, grow community, and grow hope.

Farm2Family Program

At Living Hope Farm, we believe everyone deserves fresh, healthy food. That’s why we donate a portion of our harvest each week to local families facing food insecurity through our Farm2Family program of sponsored CSA shares.

We work with our local food pantry partners, school districts, and other nonprofits to identify households that could benefit from a season’s worth of fresh, nutritious produce. Through the generosity of our donors, these families are provided the full benefit of CSA membership that they would not have been able to afford on their own.

We’re grateful for the generous partnership of Harleysville Materials and the Mount Charitable Foundation, whose annual support directly strengthens this mission. Their commitment will allow us to expand our sponsored CSA shares over the next several years, ensuring even more families have access to the same nutritious, chemical-free produce our members enjoy. Together, we’re building a stronger, healthier community—one veggie at a time.

Food insecurity has risen in the past few years. It is our goal to expand the number of households served by our Farm to Family program, so that we can bring the abundance of the farm to even more members of our community.

Anyone is welcome to donate specific funds to our Farm2Family program.

The Challenge We're Facing

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Our farm community has always counted on the pleasure of fresh, pasture-raised eggs from our beloved flock. Recently, however, our feathered friends have faced unprecedented challenges that have disrupted our ability to provide for the community.

The Challenge We’re Facing

Predators have taken a devastating toll on our flock. Despite our farmers’ tireless efforts to protect them, foxes, hawks, and other wildlife have repeatedly breached our aging henhouse and enclosure. What was once a secure home has become vulnerable, leaving our hens at risk and our egg production severely compromised.

Our Solution: A New, Predator-Proof Coop

After carefully evaluating our options—from eliminating egg shares entirely to becoming solely an egg reseller—we’ve chosen the path that keeps our farm’s mission alive: building a secure, industry-standard enclosure that will finally give our hens the protection they need.

This new structure will fully enclose the birds as they take their journey around the farm’s pastures- making it impossible for predators to access them as they go about their day. In addition, the design will allow more room for our chickens during roosting, easier cleaning and maintenance, as well as more efficient egg collection. If you’re interested in the new design and how it will be used, you can check out "prairie schooners" or “mobile range shelters” to get an idea of what we’ll build.

How You Can Help

While building our own coop is more cost-effective than purchasing a pre-made structure, it still requires a meaningful investment in materials and construction. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to providing our hens with the secure sanctuary they need.
