Steam cooked Kohlrabi
Remove the leaves, peel and slice rather thin
Steam-cook in a very small amount of salted water in a sauce pan or a pan with a tight fitting lid.
Add the slices when the water just comes to a boil and cook slowly for 25 minutes. Remove, drain,
and pour melted butter over top. Sprinkle with salt and fresh pepper. These are also great with a
warm cream sauce.
